Terms of Service
Last updated 3 September 2026
These terms govern access to Plug-in AI and any agency workspace hosted on it. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or using the platform, you agree to them.
1. The service
Plug-in AI provides AI image, video, and audio generation with per-client and per-job cost attribution. Available models, their capabilities, and their prices may change as upstream providers change theirs; we will keep the prices shown in-product current.
2. Accounts and workspaces
- Accounts are created by an agency administrator or by invitation. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for activity under your credentials.
- An agency administrator can add and remove members, set roles, view all generations in the workspace, and control spend limits.
- You must be at least 16 and authorized to accept these terms on behalf of your organization.
- Do not share credentials or allow access by anyone outside your organization.
3. Credits, pricing, and payment
- The platform runs on prepaid credits. Credits are purchased in advance and drawn down as generations complete.
- Each generation's price is shown before you run it. The amount charged reflects the settings you chose — model, resolution, duration, and number of outputs.
- Purchased credits do not expire.
- Credit purchases are non-refundable except where required by law, or where a generation failed through a fault on our side — failed generations are not charged.
- Prices are exclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes, which are added at checkout where required.
- If your balance is insufficient, generation is paused until you top up. We may suspend a workspace with unpaid amounts.
4. Your content and rights in output
- You keep all rights you hold in the prompts and reference material you upload.
- As between you and us, you own the output your account generates, and you may use it commercially.
- You grant us the limited licence needed to run the service — to process your inputs, produce output, store the results in your workspace, and display them back to your team.
- We do not use your prompts or output to train our own models.
- AI output is not guaranteed to be unique. Similar prompts can produce similar results for other users, and output may not be eligible for copyright protection in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for clearing rights in anything you upload as reference material.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform to create or distribute:
- Content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Realistic depictions of real people presented as genuine without their consent, including deceptive political content.
- Content that harasses, defames, or incites violence or hatred against a person or group.
- Fraudulent material, malware, or anything that violates applicable law or export controls.
You must also respect the usage rules of the underlying model providers, and must not attempt to resell raw model access, reverse engineer the platform, circumvent metering, or overload the service. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, and may remove content that breaches these terms.
6. Real people, faces and voices
Generating a recognisable real person is different from generating a person. This section covers the first.
- You may upload a photograph, clip or recording of an identifiable person only if you hold that person's written permission covering this use, including AI generation from their likeness or voice. You warrant that you hold it, and you must be able to produce it on request.
- Do not upload material of a person who has not agreed, of a child, or of a public figure you have no agreement with. Do not use the platform to make a real person appear to say or do something they did not.
- Some models can be given a licensed actor: a person who has verified their own identity with the model provider, uploaded their own material, and authorised its use for a stated purpose and period. That authorisation is given by the actor to the provider, not to us and not to you, and the actor's own consent record governs it.
- Licensed-actor capacity on this platform is limited and is allocated by us on request. Ask us before planning work that depends on it. An authorisation can expire, be refused at verification, or be withdrawn by the actor at any time, and any of those can stop generation that previously worked.
- Identity verification of an actor involves biometric processing carried out by the model provider under its own terms and privacy notice. We do not perform that verification and do not receive the biometric data.
- We may refuse, suspend or remove any generation or uploaded asset involving a real person's likeness or voice, without notice, where we believe consent is absent, unclear, or withdrawn.
- You are responsible for claims arising from likeness, voice or personality rights in material you supplied or asked us to generate. See the indemnity section below.
Describing a person in words, or using a synthetic character that does not depict a real individual, requires none of the above.
7. Availability
We work to keep the platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Capacity depends in part on upstream providers and can be affected by their outages, rate limits, or model retirements. Planned maintenance will be announced where practical.
8. Warranties and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the output, or your breach of these terms.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination you may export your generated files for 30 days, after which they may be deleted. Unused credits are forfeited on termination for cause.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes take effect 30 days after we notify you in-product or by email; continuing to use the platform after that constitutes acceptance.
